The Schmoes winked to the past and looked to the future with the summer comedy “Grown Ups”. Would Harloff yearn for children of his own? Would Ellis relive his basketball glory days? Would Tazz revisit haunting camp memories? Enjoy!

Adam Sandler is over. Sure his movies make money but they haven’t been good since we kids and I don’t even know if they are those are that great.
This movie was fine for what it was, exactly what I expect from Sandler
Gotta tell you guys, I liked it. Sure, it ain’t a brain surgery movie but as a fun distraction, it was exactly what it was intended to be.
Your comment about people “liking” Sandler is 100% spot on. He’s a likable dude. He’s yet to do anything douchetastic in the public eye (with the possible exception of LITTLE NICKY) so that’s earned him fans.
And the reason people like him (I think) is for the exact joke you made about Spade. Sandler’s friends with these guys and loves them so he works with them. Spade’s funny. It’s not like he’s giving gigs away to untalented performers.
Making movies is long and boring at times. Long days of sitting around doing nothing for long stretches of time. Who’d you rather chill with in that setting?
Some pompous artsy douche or friends who make you laugh?
Seems like an easy answer to me.
Okay, I’m stepping off the douche box now.
Totally respect your opinion. You will see the following statement plenty of times on our site so here it goes: We never claim to be critics. We are just dudes who watch movies and we say this….if you watch our reviews and you have similar tastes as us, then we hope you take our opinion and see or avoid movies. If you don’t agree, we hope you find us entertaining and start movie discussions which you have done. I agree with you that Sandler’s friends and the crews of his films probably have an amazing time filming his movies. I wouldn’t complain if I was Rob Schneider.
This movie was better than I thought it would be and I don’t hate Rob Schneider as much as you guys do.
