I seem to have upset a number of people, including my friends who love STAR WARS almost as much as I do, when I asked them to please, pretty please stop whining about George Lucas making changes to the Holy Trilogy. I guess I wasn’t that polite in my telling them to shut up, but I was just sick and tired of hearing people complain endlessly about it. Bottom line, these are his movies and he can do what he wants with them.

My returning favorites have returned and BIG BANG and MODERN FAMILY lived up to my expectations. COMMUNITY did as well, and now with John Goodman in the mix(No Walter, you’re not wrong, you’re just an ASSHOLE!, Love JG) the show that keeps on getting better just stepped up it’s game.

Gonna break down TV today, no pics, no vids, just the power of the word!

Just because two things are in the same field or are similar doesn’t mean that a person who has an aptitude for one is going to be just as competent in the other. Some people can sing and act. Some should just stick to one or the other. Just because someone is a Hall of Famer, doesn’t mean he can coach that sport. Some people can act their ass off, doesn’t mean they should step behind the camera and direct themselves as well as others.

Solo. Jones. Ryan. Deckard. Harrison Ford has played many iconic roles over the last 35 years. Dicaprio and D.D. Lewis may be my favorite actors, Arnie and Sly may be my favorite action heroes and Luke Skywalker was my first on-screen hero. But Harrison Ford has always and will always be my favorite. Favorite what you ask? Let’s just say, for a lack of a better word, Favorite Movie Star. But in truth, he’s just my favorite. Like Jerry Rice in Football, Will Clark in baseball, Patrick Marleau in Hockey, Michael Jordan.....

Yes it does, and if my memory of the final novel serves me well, as well as the current 96% rating it currently holds on a certain veggie themed website is any indication, it all ends in grand fashion. If you haven’t seen any of the HARRY POTTER films or read the books, chances are you are not going to, however, I feel oblige to tell you there may be spoilers ahead. Not for the final film mind you, even though I have read the book, I would not dare pull an Ebert CRYING GAME goof by spoiling the epic of our time

With the third TRANSFORMERS once again kicking ass and taking names at he Box Office and a 4th already in the works sans Bay and Lebouf and possibly starring Jason Statham(that would so kick ass), my childhood cartoons continue to come to life

While Marvel has been more successful in the quantity of movies based on their characters, I believe DC has been good in the quality department even if they have ignored most of their characters other than two. With IRON MAN and THOR, Marvel has shown that they plan to show as much love to their secondary characters as they do to their most well known and beloved such as Spidey and the X-men.

What the heck is an Amblin Movie?

To say Disneyland is a special place is an understatement of Matterhornish proportions. It means so much to so many people. Everyone remembers their first trip, regardless of how disillusioned with life you become, if you have been to any of the Disney parks, you can always think back to that first trip, it will bring a smile to your face.

Over the last week, I’ve been enjoying some time off from work by the time honored tradition of channel surfing. With channel guides and DVR, channel surfing has become much more complicated and time consuming occupation. Before you would flip on through tube, something would catch your eye and you’d stick around for a while.

Before you start getting your panties in a bunch, I love Christopher Nolan and his first two forays into the Bat’s world were amazingly entertaining and fun. He has yet to disappointed me, starting with MEMENTO and continuing with last year’s INCEPTION.
